The Gilded Beaver Award is given annually to a citizen  deemed by the Privy Council to have had a positive impact on the community. Gilded Beaver Award recipients are chosen by majority vote of the council. The award recipient cannot be a member of the Holy Order at the time of award receipt.


The council is now considering nominees for the 2009 Gilded Beaver Award. The recipient and the date of ceremony will be announced here shortly.
